What a difference it has made in my daily life to not read all of the popular news blogs that I once did. Not that we should be oblivious to what is going on in the world, but unless it has a direct impact on my family, or is something that is within my control to change, what good does it do to think about? It will only cause worry or anger, both of which are a sin.
