Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn't always fair;
- and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

President Obama tried a reboot last night.… He attempted to apply CPR to the flat-lining health care reform bill with a dramatic speech to both houses of Congress. He tried to bring back his campaign-era bipartisan tone, saying he wanted to incorporate ideas from all sides.

I am looking forward to watching President Obama's healthcare speech to Congress tonight. There is a lot of emotional appeal in the media to provide government health insurance to the uninsured of America. I wondered who the uninsured in America really are, and the following is what I found out.

Everyone in America has access to high quality medical care.

So, I changed hosting providers after being with the same company since 2003. Why? Because as of 9/1/09 the old company is placing a quota on all email accounts of 250MB. That is just not cool as even Google gives you 7 GB for free. So, we'll see how this goes!
